Delivering results — without compromising tomorrow.

Sustainability at RECOM CORP International

Our clients ask us to deliver in the world's most demanding environments — fast, safely and to specification. Our own ambition reaches further: to positively impact the societies and ecosystems where we operate, and to leave every host community stronger than we found it.

Sustainability is not a checklist at RECOM CORP International — it is the way we design camps, mobilise convoys, hire teams and account for every dollar. Our ESG framework is anchored in the UN Global Compact and reported against internationally recognised standards.

01 — Environment

Building with the climate in mind.

From renewable-powered camps to circular procurement, we minimise the environmental footprint of every mobilisation — even in the most remote geographies where sustainable options are hardest to find.

Renewable energy first

Solar-first design for camps, sites and community infrastructure — reducing diesel dependency across remote projects.

Circular procurement

Local sourcing, lifecycle-aware design and re-use of materials to cut embodied carbon on every build.

Water & biodiversity

Water-positive site plans and biodiversity safeguards for fragile ecosystems where we operate.

Low-impact construction

Fleet optimisation, dust and emissions control, and site restoration built into every contract.

02 — Social

Communities are the reason we exist.

Every RCI project is designed to leave behind more than infrastructure: local jobs, transferrable skills and durable social infrastructure that outlast the contract.

Local hiring

Deliberate local recruitment — up to 85% of site staff hired from host communities on flagship programmes.

Skills transfer

Certified training in trades, HSE and logistics that outlives the project and feeds regional economies.

Community investment

Water, health and education infrastructure delivered alongside client mandates, co-designed with community leaders.

Health, safety & dignity

World-class HSE standards, gender-safe camps and zero tolerance for exploitation.

03 — Governance

Ethics you can audit.

Transparent decision-making, watertight compliance and third-party accountability sit at the heart of how we win, deliver and report.

Ethics & anti-corruption

Written code of conduct, third-party due diligence and a confidential whistle-blower channel.

Transparent reporting

Annual ESG disclosures aligned with UN Global Compact and internationally recognised frameworks.

Responsible partnerships

Every partner, vendor and subcontractor is screened against sanctions, human-rights and integrity criteria.

Compliance by design

Contract, HSE and financial controls embedded from the first day of every mobilisation.

04 — Modern Slavery Statement

Zero tolerance, everywhere we operate.

RECOM CORP International rejects all forms of modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labour and child labour — in our own operations and in every layer of our supply chain. We screen partners against international sanctions and human-rights criteria, train our staff to recognise the warning signs, and operate a confidential grievance channel available to workers, communities and third parties.

Findings are investigated independently, remedied at pace and reported annually. This statement is reviewed and approved by our executive leadership.
